During the summer, “I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream.” In the fall, let’s not forget all the things that make us scream during “spooky” season! All of the little (less frightening and more adorable) ghosts, vampires, and skeletons will be running door-to-door and hopefully collecting more treats than tricks on Halloween night.

Pumpkins, Candy, and Toothbrushes… Oh My!

For the second time, the Crown Dental team will be participating in a Halloween Candy Buyback Event. Those who remember our first buyback event, know that the COVID-19 pandemic interrupted what we hoped would be an annual occurrence, just like it did practically everything else in the world!

That’s why last year we didn’t participate in a candy buyback, but managed to stay on trend with fall festivities while still meeting safety guidelines by swapping our dental tools for paint brushes and pumpkins.

The Trick for the Extra Treats

Even though we had great fun with last year’s event, we are excited to revisit the candy buyback opportunity!

Thanks to Operation Gratitude, Crown Dental has a solution for where to stash your extra Halloween sweets. Since 2007, Operation Gratitude has been “buying back” candy in order to package and send it to America’s military, veterans, and first responder heroes.

Swap your extra candy for a Crown Dental toothbrush goodie bag and a plush beanie baby! Think of it as a win-win….win. America’s finest get a well deserved treat, you get a goodie bag, and your teeth are subjected to less sugar!

What Kinds of Treats?

We just ask that the candy donated to our buyback event meets the following requirements…

• All donated candy must be unopened
• Weed out what you don’t like and donate it (one man’s trash is another’s treasure!)
• Worried your kids will come home with cavities? Give us the super sticky, sugary stuff!

In advance, we thank you for your participation! We are excited to see your shining smiles and send our care package of candy to those who could really use a sweet surprise!

We’ll be collecting November 1st 2021 through November 24th 2021, and ask that you bring in your candy during our open hours!
