Crown Dental’s Newest Hygienist: Gina Samarel

Here on Tuesdays, Gina is the newest member of the Crown Dental crew and we’re delighted to have her on staff.

“I’ve been in dental hygiene for many years and especially enjoy meeting and treating new patients and seeing established patients on a regular basis. I have formed many friendships throughout the years with many of them. I love teaching patients about their oral health and seeing their progress in maintaining oral health and overall health. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, reading, trying new foods, and anything at the beach. My favorite pastime is spending quality time with my family!”

A Familiar Face: Nancy Schalk

Most of our clients know and love Nancy, who has been with Crown Dental since day one and has worked as a dental hygienist for 33 years!

“What’s not to love about coming into work and spending my days with such a fun group of people?
My patients make me laugh and I learn more from them than they probably do from me. It’s been a great choice of careers for me. Heck, not even a pandemic can keep me away! When I am not with my dental family, I am spending time with my husband. We are newly “empty nesters,” as our two daughters have headed off to college. I devote my free time to photography, volunteering and planning future vacations!”

Quick to make us laugh, even our recent testimonials speak to Nancy’s sense of humor: “Nancy, the hygienist, was gentle and put me at ease with her humor. I, actually, enjoyed my dental appointment. Would give 10 stars if I could!”
