As we approach the holiday season, Crown Dental wanted to do something to help give back to the local community. Because after all… we are in the season of giving. 🙂

This year, Crown Dental has chosen to support Family Promise, but we need your help!

Every Child Deserves a Home 

Family Promise is an organization with a mission to help end homelessness. Through safe housing and education, they help guide families to sustainable independence. 

For over two decades, the organization has come together to try and address the issue of family homelessness in the Greater Nashua community. In 2000, they created the Greater Nashua Interfaith Hospitality Network and only one year later, they began hosting families overnight. 

They’ve helped several local families achieve permanent stability and a path out of homelessness.

What Family Promise serves to do is important because every child deserves a home.

How Can You Help?

We will be accepting donations at our Nashua office from now until December 22, 2022! After that, the staff will bring everything to Family Promise that same evening.

The donations we will be accepting are…

• Adult stockings
• Gift cards
• Toilet paper
• Diapers 
• Wipes
• Baby shampoos, conditioners, body wash etc.
• Linens
• Blankets
• Towels
• Pillows
• Hair products
• Feminine hygiene products
• Razors
• Tupperware
• Over-the-counter medications
• Silverware
• Trash bags
• Books (for all ages!)
• Shoes
• Slippers
• Pajamas

Basically, any household items that you don’t need anymore could be a big asset to Family Promise. If you’re interested, please consider donating to our event–your help is greatly appreciated.

Giving Tuesday

And in the true giving spirit… What better way to celebrate Giving Tuesday (11/29) than by donating to support an important organization!

You might be wondering… What is Giving Tuesday?

Giving Tuesday was created to try and help nonprofits raise money. The holiday is a response to the crazy spending that happens on Black Friday–and while there is nothing wrong with some holiday shopping, it’s important to give back to the community as well.

Giving Tuesday serves to offset all that corporate spending and give back to other organizations!
